Manage your meeting library
Rename meetings, search across transcripts, select several at once, export or delete in bulk, and reveal a meeting's file in Finder.
In closed beta
Meeting Notes is in closed beta and not yet available to everyone. This article describes how it works.
Every recording lands in the meetings list, newest first. From there you can rename, export, and delete meetings without opening each one, and undo a deletion for a few seconds after making it.
Rename a meeting
Choose Rename from the … menu on any row, or click the title at the top of an open meeting and type. A title you set yourself is permanent: Epilude never renames a meeting you have named.
Until then, Epilude names the meeting for you. A new recording starts as a date stamp like "Meeting Aug 5 at 4:12 PM", or as the call's window title when meeting detection found one. Once enough has been said, usually within the first minute, the title is replaced with one drawn from the conversation itself.
Select several meetings
Hover over a row and a checkbox appears at its left edge. Click it to select the meeting, and hold ⇧ while clicking another checkbox to select everything in between.
A bar appears at the bottom of the window with the selection count. Its Export… button writes each selected meeting as its own Markdown file into a folder you pick, and its … menu holds Select all and Delete. A meeting that is currently recording cannot be selected, so a bulk delete can never touch a live recording.
Delete a meeting
Choose Delete meeting from a row's … menu, or from the More menu inside an open meeting. There is no confirmation step. The meeting disappears immediately, and a notice with an Undo button stays on screen for eight seconds.
Once the notice is gone, the deletion is permanent: the meeting, its transcript, its Markdown file, and any saved audio are removed from your Mac. Deleting a multi-selection works the same way, with one Undo for the whole batch.
Reveal the file in Finder
Each meeting mirrors to a Markdown file on disk (see Export and auto-save). Show in Finder in the row's … menu selects that file in Finder, ready to drag into another app or folder.
Search your meetings
The search field above the list matches titles, transcripts, summaries, your typed notes, and action items. Type any phrase you remember hearing and the meeting that contains it comes up.
The demo meeting
The row with the Demo chip is the sample meeting, pinned at the bottom of the list. Delete it like any other meeting. The Try a demo meeting card returns afterwards, so you can run the demo again whenever you want.
