Speak your mind. Send it polished.
Hold a key and talk into any app on your Mac. Epilude writes what you meant: filler dropped, punctuation placed, your tone matched to where you’re writing. In Local Mode it runs on your Mac, and your audio never leaves it.

Compose your message...
Works in any app. Gmail, Slack, Notion, VS Code, anywhere you type.
Hold a key, talk, let go
Dictation lives on a hotkey, not in an app. Wherever your cursor is (an email, a Slack thread, a doc, a code editor), hold the key, say what you mean, and release. The finished text lands about a second later, punctuated and ready to send. Prefer not to hold? Double-tap the key and dictate hands-free until you tap again.
You talk. It writes what you meant.
There is no dictation voice to perform. Say “um,” trail off, change your mind with “let’s meet at 2… actually 3,” and speak a list as “one… two… three.” AI Smart Edits drops the filler, keeps the correction, formats the list, and punctuates from the shape of your sentence.
It knows a memo from a group chat
Tone Match reads which app you are writing in and sets the register to fit: formal in docs and email, short in Slack, relaxed in iMessage. Your phrasing, your rhythm, and your jokes stay yours. Only the formality moves.
deck’s ready, lmk what you think
It learns the words your work runs on
Client names, product codenames, the acronyms of your field. Fix a spelling once and Vocabulary keeps it right from then on, across every Mac you sign in on. There is no dictionary file to maintain, and nothing to import.

Say a cue, drop a saved block
Some text you write twenty times a week. Save it once and give it a spoken cue. “Send my calendar” drops your scheduling link, “sig” drops your full signature, wherever you happen to be writing. Shortcuts turn two seconds of speech into the paragraph you used to retype.
Editing is dictation too
Select any text, press the hotkey, and say the change: “make this more concise,” “translate to French,” “add bullet points.” Actions rewrites the selection in place. Nothing gets copied into a chatbot and pasted back.
I wanted to reach out to see if you might have some time next week to discuss the project.

Or keep every word on your Mac
Turn on Local Mode and Epilude Model 4.1 runs dictation entirely on your Mac. Your audio never leaves it, and dictation keeps working with no internet at all: on a plane, in a secure building, anywhere. Cloud mode stays the default, one toggle away, with the widest language support.
